My Rustic Pallet Furniture Pieces make beautiful display pieces for the home.
First, collect your safety gear including gloves and safety glasses. Safety first! I built pallet end tables as my first project. They measure 2′ tall x 2′ deep x 17″ wide. Inspired, I made my second project: Ladder shelves. The shelf is 6′ tall, 42″ wide. My third project was a set of jewelry stands. All you need is a nail gun or hammer, small finish nails, carpenter’s glue, a saw and a tape measure. I use my palm sander, but you can use plain old sandpaper, and it works fine. Some pieces were left natural and unstained. Others were stained using an Early American stain. Finally, I coated the pieces with a polyurethane sealer. So have fun like I always do.
