Pallet sides are often forgotten in the process of recycling – we decided to do something about that! We wanted to decorate the end wall of our new showroom, and ended up using pallet sides with no other modification than the removal of the corner hinges, and using sides where some have original logos intact, such as Lego for example. This is part of the up/recycling storytelling that we enjoy and we’ve found that a lot of people agree with that notion.
We are a small company in Copenhagen who’ve made it our goal to make new, cool designs out of recycled materials: Genbyg Design (Danish for “Rebuild Design”).
All the best!
This is great! Except I’d eliminate the center shelves. Can’t sit on the bench with a shelf knocking you on the head!
True dat!
Until you bang your head on the shelf.
