Union Jack Pallet Doghouse:
First, I built the floor. I framed out a rectangle, putting cross-braces to support the boards from sagging. Next, I framed out the doghouse. The doghouse is really just a box shape, with more pallet boards that are cut on an angle to create the pitch of the roof. You can make this as sharp or flat as you want. I cut an arched opening. A variation is a simple square opening.
Union Jack Pallet Doghouse – the flair:
I added a little railing around the “patio”, and then carved out a bone-shaped piece of pallet wood and hung it at the peak of the roof. Finally, I painted it white, and then added the Union Jack paint job over the top.
