I used pallets as another amazing and economical media that I enjoy painting on. I hand-painted this Japanese Pallet Art piece. My inspiration was Japanese Filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films. It is an amazing example of pallets as an upscale art media.
I made this out of a small pallet. First, I disassembled the pallet. Next, I cut the deck boards to size and nailed them together from the back side. Finally, I hand-painted everything using depictions from Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films.
It’s not just japanese art, but a summary of the best cartoons directed by : Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli studios.
