I made this easy, Single-Pallet Coat Rack to organize our entryway and keep our kids on time for school! I used a single 48″x 40″ pallet.
This Single-Pallet Coat Rack would be great in an entryway, mudroom, or living room!
First, I cut the middle three slats off the bottom side of a pallet. Next, I added two strips of 2″x 2″ wood in the middle to reinforce the hooks for the backpacks. Then I added small feet on the bottom, on each side of the pallet for more support. This prevents the pallet from tipping over when the kids pull their stuff roughly. I put six hooks into the pallet but may add more in the future as needs change. I spraypainted it a fun blue after sanding down the entire pallet. To finish the look, I finished it with a fine grade sandpaper to add a bit of age.
Easy idea! Now, how about a Jewelry Armoire?
Yes basically it is one pallet painted and fixed to the wall. I did cut off some slats on the bottom side and attach some 2×2 wood to support the hooks. I also added a bottom so that the top could hold items like a shelf. I know it’s pretty basic but it was an easy project to start out on.
It’s basically a painted pallet fixed to a wall yeah?
