Simple Pallet Bed: Underlit to make your bedroom or guest room cozy and inviting!
To start, I found several sturdy pallets and only used heat-treated pallets. Check out our advice on pallet safety if you’re not sure to check how your pallets were treated. Trim any pallets to fit your space and mattress size. Fill in excessive gaps on the pallets with extra deck boards to ensure even support. Secure the pallets together with straps and/or screws. Next, place pallets vertically to create a headboard. Trim down if necessary. For a bit of ambiance, add underlighting with simple holiday LED lights. Sand to remove any splinters areas, and paint or stain as desired.
