My wish was to marry the raw wood of a pallet with steel, and my Sleek Pallet Coffee Table is the outcome. Rustic can meet modern, and this stylish table proves that.
Combine square steel tubing and plane the wood thin for this Sleek Pallet Coffee Table.
This project used two pallets that I planed thin and joined the sides for a tight fit. I used square steel tubing and bolted most of the frame together for an industrial look.
Mon souhait était de marier le bois brut d’une palette avec de l’acier.
Minimalist, clean and light, this table would add elegance and refinement to any living room, while the beauty of the pallet wood will add charm and interest!
The steel frame is recessed but visible to give this table a unique look.
Mitered corners and planed wood to a uniform thickness adds a touch of elegance and makes the project look finished.
We weren’t afraid to use wood with features like knot holes, recessed areas, gaps, and more to add charm and interest to this table.
Knotholes are beautiful! Take time to fit and finish the pallet wood to enjoy both the natural grain of the wood with a clean look.
A lower shelf adds a lot of storage and organization possibilities. Use baskets, metal bins, or even store games and books. The possibilities are endless.
