No sanding or finish on any of the wood. There is no odor from the wood at all. Thought about doing the stools too, but I have those huge I-beams which are flat black and wanted to match that. Plus I thought the stools and bar done in same fashion would work against each other.

But let me ask you something – what did you use gor finish? Or you didn’t use anything?
