I wanted sturdy and attractive storage options for my laundry room, and plastic shelves wouldn’t do. I made these Pallet Laundry Room Cabinets as a cost-effective and much more attractive option!
Pallet Laundry Room Cabinets:
To begin my Pallet Laundry Room Cabinets, I used six eight ft framing 2×4″ boards that I bought to ensure sturdiness. I attached the 2×4″ top and bottom boards to the wall studs, ensuring they were level. I used 12″ 2×4″ boards to connect the front of the cabinets to the back of the wall. Then I used oak pallets to face out the outside. Next, I put the bottom into the cabinet while leaving the top open since this project is just for storage. The doors were made also using oak pallets. I attached the doors with two 2 inch hinges available at any hardware store. I finished up this project by adding door hooks to keep the doors shut and drilled holes to insert twin ropes for pull handles.
Beautifully done! Laundry storage is always a great thing to have, particularly for safety around little ones and pets. Now, what about a table to do your sorting and folding on?
Is there a way to get the plans for these? I would like these in my kitchen.
