Yet Another Pallet Shed

I needed another garden pallet shed that was not going to cost me a fortune, so I obtained yet another load of pallets from my friend’s factory. The pallets originate from Germany and are sent to the UK with melamine facing on them, hence the size 2600mm x 135mm x 150mm, and the fact they are solid boarded both sides. We use to occasionally find Oak planked pallets, but they don’t seem to get through any longer.

The concrete pad was laid to accommodate the pallets without too much cutting so ended up 7.8m x 3.9, also kept me just under building regs for planning. 150cm x 50cm tanalised timbers were screwed to the concrete, so I had something to fix the pallets too, to be honest, the weight is the main thing that keeps them in place.

Once we had a corner in place and fixed using 200mm coach screws, the rest comes fairly quickly. Just need to do the cladding and make a pair of doors from another pallet and it will be finished. The last part was insulating the shed. Enough talk, here are the photos.
