Solid Little Pallet Bench

Here’s an all-purpose, Solid Little Pallet Bench that could be used for construction to parties. This bench is a simple build and only cost about four dollars.

My Solid Little Pallet Bench:

I built this bench in about two hours, and it was quite easy. I glued 8×3 stringer boards together to create the top. Next, I cut the four legs at a 15-degree angle. I installed a railing on the underside with glue and deck screws and then glued the legs in place, securing with 2 1/2″ deck screws. Just a simple length of 8×3 and 3×3 legs glued and screwed. This made a simple, yet solid bench.

I painted it with a medium brown paint and let it dry. This bench will be a handy addition to my back yard (or workshop).

hi I was just looking at your work and noticed it isn’t your work at all I’m a little confused as to why you would just steal my pictures and pass it off as your own I’m flattered that you thought it was worth stealing though. I don’t mind that you wanted to share it. by the way there was no bits glued and screwed for the top it is a solid piece of 8×3″ and 165cm in length. Thank you. if you want to email me for tips on what to build I’d be happy to help. rossiburg@gmail.com

Looking for some help please……having just bought a scooter I want to make a safe ‘shed’ for it, as it has to be parked outside…it must have a flat(ish) roof not apex as it will be going beneath the kitchen window….any ideas how I can make one please….thank you

Absolutely! If you go to 1001pallets.com and search for sheds, you’ll see LOTS of ideas. I recently built one that wasn’t peaked (the apex style) – it’s more of a lean-to style, with the top of the roof line coming in just under my shed windows and sloping about 2 inches down to allow for water to run off. It’s actually where we now store our lawn mowers and some yard equipment. I just measured the max height (under the windows), and then made the front of the shed about two inches lower, and built front doors and a side… Read more »
