Why would it be illegal? The maker could be in the US where in most states any guns can be left out quite legally. Most look to be air rifles so,even in the UK, these do not have to be locked up or they could be deactivated weapons which again do not need to be stored in a gun cabinet.
Some places it is illegal, some places it’s legal.
Some states in the U.S. have enacted stricter gun laws. Yes, you can still leave them out, but if they’re stolen, you could be held liable if they’re involved in a crime. Some states have minimum requirements for “acceptable” gun cabinets to reduce your liability now – as I live in one of those oppressive states, I watch the laws in my area. How did you cut the slots and holes in the gun rack? I am wanting to build something similar but for for fishing poles. I can’t find anything online how to cut the slots and holes.
