For this project, I used a scrap piece of pallet wood, one with imperfections like knots and nail holes. I handwrote the name and routered it, then added an old horseshoe, and lone star pulled off an old cooler someone tossed out. I also added used shotgun primers in each corner, and clear coated the entire sign.
