I built each one of these Rustic Pallet Bars using three to four pallets. I make many different styles, based on a basic frame & design.
Grab three pallets and build a version of these Rustic Pallet Bars for your backyard!
Tools & supplies used on my projects:
- 18-gauge nail gun
- Router
- Circular saw
- Hammer
- 3″ finish nails
- Carpenter’s wood glue between the wood joints
- 3″ screws (on the 2×6″ trim boards)
- Safety glasses
- Leather work gloves
- Paint (on some bars)
- Stain (on some bars)
- Jig saw, or band saw
- LED lighting (on some bars)
I use reclaimed 2″×6″ wood cut to 42″ inches. Additionally, I use 2″×12″ boards cut to 5′ Long for the bar tops and. I cut more 2″ x 12″ boards to 27″ for the sides. Then I pressed all the wood before painting. Allow the wood to dry thoroughly before sanding down to bare wood. I cleaned the boards off with mineral spirits before applying several coats of semi-gloss polyurethane.
Add a Vertical Pallet Planter – even on the front of the bar! Create a Porch Swing Hanger for Mason Jar Lighting.
I want to build the Rustic Pallet Bar in the photo….where can i find the plans or instructions?
Thanks!
