I wanted to make s dear friend a potting bench made from old pallet wood. I’d just picked up a load of single use pallets from a local tile store. Unusually, there were some some 2.4m long pallets which were perfect to make the long “L” shaped legs for the back of a potting bench.
It took about half a day, but then I do have a good chop/table saw, plus I used outdoor glue and air staples for most of it with wood screws for the framework underneath the bench proper. I gave the whole thing lots of decking oil to finish it off.
l love working with pallet wood to make my crafts and projects. It’s better and cheaper than the lumberstore, and it’s better wood. The pallet potting benchs. Looks better and nicer then you can buy from a store.
