I try never to waste any pieces, always manage to come up with odds and ends from cut offs. I had made a shelf from a pallet and had a beautiful end piece left. I had just the idea, a four hook towel rack for the pool area as everyone was always just throwing their towels on the floor after swimming. I sanded the wood well and painted with PVA, using white and gray. I also distressed into the wood a little for some extra texture. I had purchased hooks I looked, but they were gold, so I used spray paint and made them black and silver. I then used stenciling and black spray paint, and I coated it with a protective matt coating to endure weather conditions and awesome, towel rack finished and ready for use outside of the pool area.
Very interesting idea for making use of pallet ends to turn them into practical and useful items.
l appreciate very much the effort spent for producing such articles.
Thank you so much. It’s fun to think of how you can use every bit and not waste
