I built this Pallet Lobby Furniture for a local car dealership, and it was one of my first big orders! This project was very interesting and took me about a week to complete it.

How I built this Pallet Lobby Furniture:

This project consists of four sofas, one coffee table, and a front desk. I used a pallet, plus a second set of lower skid assemblies to create a comfortable seating height for the couch. I cut a pallet in half lengthwise and mounted it to the seat portion of the couch to create backrests.

I built the coffee table using one pallet for the top, and another for the legs. I cut the second pallet in half to create the legs. I mounted the deck boards at ninety-degree angles on the pallet blocks to secure the legs.

I made the front desk using whole pallets that I assembled, shortening to adjust the height the dealership requested. I made the counter out of deck boards, trimmed to length, sanded and painted a gloss red.

I painted the entire set a gloss white, except for the counter-tops. The cushions were upholstered in a bright red material as well. I think this project came out well and is a fun and economical way to furnish an office setting. It is also adjustable to each facility’s needs.
