This Pallet Garbage Bin Storage Shed is a simple and budget-friendly way to hide those unsightly trash cans, and to keep your pets away from the trash! You only need three pallets and two hours to make your own.
Build your own Pallet Garbage Bin Storage Shed – a straightforward design:
I didn’t need many tools for this project. I used a drill, a screwdriver and a lot of outdoor screws. I used a piece of pole to use as a lid support, but a piece of wood would work too. I used pieces of heavy-gauge wire and large nails for the simple closure method. I put the front gate in place, and wrap the wire around. This could be done with hinges and a latch too, but the wire is very low-cost. I used more pallet slats as a rooftop. I installed nuts and bolts through the frame of the roof so I can ope it when needed.
I haven’t decided how I should finish it, or if I should leave it as is. What do you think?
Thanks for posting. I followed your idea. I was lucky enough to get some of the really large pallets which helped. The only difference I made was not to put any door on the front, which meant the bins pushed in and out easily. I didn’t have to put a lifting lid on then and fixed a top. I used slats, cut down slightly from other pallets, to fill the gaps so that if was solid all around. I then painted it with spare grey fence paint to match my fences. All done with no cost except nails!
