It’s always summertime somewhere! Make a Pallet Adirondack Chair Set to enjoy those lazy summer evenings. I made these 2 Adirondack chairs out of three pallets. I have approximately 6 hours into each chair, built over a span of about eight days.
Here’s how you can build your own Pallet Adirondack Chair Set:
I started this project using a set of plans that I found at www.diygardenplans.net. I stuck close to the same measurements. The first chair I used 2×6 for the frame. The seat and back I ripped the 2×6 to 1/2 x 4 to help with the overall weight.
I found a pallet that was built out of 2x4s and used that for the second chair. Next, I built the frame out of those 2x4s. Then I ripped the wood down to 1/2 x 4 and installed them onto the seat and backrest for the wife.
I cut one side at a 30-degree angle on the back brace, so the back slats are able to meet right up to the brace.
