Make those photos stand out with a charming Pallet Wood Picture Frame. The outside dimensions are 12" x 15", and the inner frame holds a 5 x 7 picture.
Build this Pallet Wood Picture Frame in five hours and use those pallet scraps and cutoffs.
I cleaned the wood with a wire brush to clean and smooth it without removing the texture. No finish was required! First, dismantle a pallet. Next, cut a deck board to the dimensions you want - I cut the length to 15". Glue pieces together until the frame backer is the width you want - in this case, 12" wide. Optionally, attach the pieces together with strips of wood that get screwed across the backer pieces. Next, cut trim strips to the width you want. I mitered the corners on both trim frames, but you can butt-join them too. I created a smaller, inner trim the same width as the outer one. Glue or screw trim pieces in place after placing your photo, attach a picture hanger on the back, and enjoy!
