I made this compost bin out of reclaimed pallet wood. It’s approximately 3’x3’x4′. It took me approximately 3 hours to build. That included breaking down the pallets, framing and reassembling the wood into what you see in the picture. It has a hinged door on top, and one on the lower front panel to remove soil when it’s ready. I just used a skill saw to cut all my pieces and hammered/nailed the rest of it together. The hardest part was trying not to bust the wood when I was breaking down the pallets. Once I got all the wood I needed, the rest was a breeze!
