There are many ideas for a DIY Vertical Pallet Planter, but I wanted to make one that was nice to look at as well as functional. I made this planter in 4 hours, and I think it looks great! It measures 1.8m tall x 1.2m wide.

Even if you don’t have a big back yard, you can have a DIY Vertical Pallet Planter:

First, break down several pallets. Next, cut several pallet boards to the length you need to create the height you want. We used the entire length of the boards, and just cut the ends at angles to make it more decorative. Lay out your boards and use another deck board as a cross piece to attach the boards together. use more boards to create as many shelves as you wish, but plan for the finished height of the veggies, herbs or flowers you’re planning to grow. Finish your shelves with either a weed barrier lining or a food-safe liner, such as pond liner. Secure in place with staples and get to planting!
