I made this Big Pallet Organization Rack For Scrap Wood using eleven pallets. It’s important to use all the same size of pallets to make the bottom and sides.

First, I put pallets against one another and joined them with deck boards on the back sides. I attached everything with screws. Next, the horizontal shelf pieces were cut to 4cm thick from massive beams. I’m confident they’ll be sturdy and thick enough to prevent bending. I hope. I’ll update everyone if this turns out to need more reinforcement. The cool part about this is that the spaces between the deck boards allow you to customize the sizes of the storage areas. I purposely did not screw the horizontal shelves in tightly. I simply wedged them in.

Finally, I used some wall brackets to prevent them from tipping forward. I repeated the process to create both sides of the shelving unit. Then, I secured from the back side with deck boards and screws.
It’s not the most beautiful piece of furniture, but it’s functional. Sometimes functionality is more important. :) I hope this gives you all some ideas to get organized and get building!
