This Beautiful Lit Pallet Liquor/Stemware Shelf is something that could be made for your home fairly easily and can be adapted for many settings. If you don’t like halogens, use LEDs. If you’d prefer to backlight the project – do it!
Beautiful Lit Pallet Liquor/Stemware Shelf:
First, find a pallet and remove the back deck. Use the endboard/pallet block pieces to form a fun shelf, displaying the EPAL stamps proudly for guests to ponder. We cut the lower board on the endboard/pallet block piece with notches for stemware. Next, add shelves anywhere you like. We used more pallet blocks as part of the shelf support on the lowest one. Then, time for lighting! We installed lighting by mounting a board between the stringers, and slightly below the end boards. We used Halogens, but you can use any type you like. Even strip lighting can work well. Mount / install the lights per the manufacturer’s directions and be sure you have a qualified person install the electrical portion if you’re not comfortable. We used some boards with live edge work to decorate the top portion of our Liquor Shelf for some added interest.
