I made this beautiful, functional, adjustable-height, U-Shaped Pallet Bar from approx three to four pallets. It has inside shelves for wine bottles and glasses or additional supplies storage.
Adjustable-Height U-Shaped Pallet Bar:
It measures 60″ wide x 24″ deep x 4′ tall. I started with a standard pallet for the front of the bar. Next, I trimmed two more pallets down to complete the sides and attached them together. I added galvanized pipe for the legs, and this makes the height adjustable. Then, I modified the insides of some of the pallets and created shelves and brackets to keep items stable. I added more galvanized pipe on the front of a foot rail. Then, I created a working counter top with a board underneath that I notched to create stemware storage. Finally, I finished out the top with more pallet boards, fitting them tightly for a nice finish. I sanded and stained it a rich brown color, and also applied layers of polyurethane varnish.
I finished this project in approximately 24 hours. But, since I’m retired, I worked on it when I felt like it. There was about $150.00 in cost for all the extra things.
