These Blowtorch Finish Pallet Pumpkins only took a couple hours to make, and cost about 7 dollars, too. That’s a lot cheaper than real pumpkins that only last a short while.
To make your own Blowtorch Finish Pallet Pumpkins
First, I dismantled one pallet, then re-screwed the boards closer together. Once I had them secured, I used a jigsaw to free-hand cut the pumpkin shape. I repeated this for the second, little pumpkin. The stems were made from a cool branch I salvaged. Next, I fired up a blowtorch and carefully scorched the pumpkins to bring out some of the gorgeous graining of the wood after sanding everything. I had some fun with vinyl decals and put our family’s name on the pumpkin for a finishing touch. Added vinyl decals with our family’s name for the finishing touch! Some brown and orange dots, sealed them with some varnish, and this project went on display on my front porch!
