I made this Drum/Pallet Rocking Chair from an old pine cable drum And a pallet! As my previous career was as a mechanical design draftsman I was able to 3d model the chair and get a center of gravity that suits me.

I added two spring-loaded plungers on the back of the chair to prevent tipping. The cable drum measured 110cm outside diameter, and the pallet was stripped down and cut to a comfortable width. I also included a snack drawer and 2 ammunition boxes mounted to the sides in this drawing. These can hold 4 cans each with an ice container at the bottom of each to keep the cans cold. There is also storage at the rear of the seat to hold 10 more cans. Truly a party in one awesome chair!
