WOW – this Extra-Large Pallet Storage Shed measures 4.50m by 2.4m or about 15 feet by 8 feet. Just think of how many awesome woodworking tools you could store in this! (sorry – the Editor got excited about this possibility).
Extra-Large Pallet Storage Shed:
We purchased about $1100.00 of supplies on this project. That’s very reasonable for the sheer size of the shed. Smaller, poorly-made tin sheds can cost as much, or more! We built the walls out of complete Euro pallets. Then, we filled in the gaps of the outside surfaces by using material cut off from the opposite deck and installed them from the inside (behind). We made the structure very durable; The shed is very strong! I used some extra treated timber that measured 22mm by 100mm (approximately 1×3″ lumber) to join the two halves vertically. Additionally, we made the foundation and roof out of “American” pallets.
Extra-Large Pallet Storage Shed – floor and roof…and durability:
Next, I used a rubber material to cover the roof. Then, I coated the inside of the walls in a breathable waterproof membrane. Then, I used reclaimed OSB board to make the entire shed watertight. We think the shed should last 40 or more years!
