If you have pallets and sometimes, you can build a Pallet Bedroom Suite! Make an extraordinary getaway room for pennies on the dollar and have something unique, too!
How one project involved into a Pallet Bedroom Suite:
This submission has several parts.
Pallet Bedroom Suite – Accent wall:
I covered a wall that has several interesting angles with pallet deck boards, mixing tones and types of woods for interest. I first attached 1×1″ boards to the wall, evenly spaced. I used painter’s tape to temporarily indicate where the boards were to keep my fasteners aligned. I secured them to the wall with screws. I think this highlights some of the unusual lines of the ceiling and exterior wall.
Chest of Drawers:
I stacked three Euro pallets on top of one another and used leftover blocks to create the legs. I built simple drawers from more pallet boards and used practical drawer pulls with clean lines to create this chest of drawers. Of course, no bedroom would be complete without some candles, so I cut some of the pallet blocks in half, used a hole saw and put votives in them.
Add some custom artwork to your Pallet Bedroom Suite:
Why buy a piece of artwork? MAKE one. I made this beautiful stylized horse’s head out of a few tones of pallet wood, almost like a puzzle-piece style, but rolled and sanded the edges over to show the definition between pieces. You don’t want a seamless, perfect fit for this kind of project. You can find an image and trace it out onto wood, then trim it out, sand it the way you like, and glue it together. You can also glue it to a sheet of MDF/plywood as well. Another variation is to stain some of the pieces while leaving others in their natural tones.
If the horse’s head is overwhelming, then I’d suggest trying something fun and simple like a heart-shape. You can pre-glue several deck boards together. When they’re dried, cut out the heart shape to your liking. You can also glue them down onto a piece of plywood/MDF as another option.
What good does it do to have all these pieces of art, but no ability to see them? I made a fun little lamp using pallet blocks that I stacked and staggered slightly. I had to drill a whole all the way through them for the lamp wiring. You can secure with glue, hardware, or both, but you want to make sure you have a secure base.
Pallet Bed with Underbed Storage:
With all the work done so far, you have to have something as a focal point. How about this pallet bed with under bed storage and a nice headboard? Two sets of pallets are stacked on top of one another and secured together. At the foot-end of the bed, the lead boards were removed between the upper and lower pallets to create some large drawer space. I built simple drawers, again keeping with the neat-and-clean lines from the pallet table, and used the same hardware. I just covered full pallets in completely with leftover deck boards to create a solid headboard.
I made a bathroom sink stand from pallets too. There is no room that can’t be improved with pallets.
J’ai réaliser cette chambre en palette, se comporte le meuble de télé avec mur en palette aussi le lit avec tiroir et téte de lit en palette.
