This Two-toned Pallet King Size Bed Frame was made from scrap plywood; two purchased 4×4’s for the headboard, and everything else is pallet wood. I built this bed frame in four sections, and it all connects using lag bolts.
Two-toned Pallet King Size Bed Frame:
Additionally, I built crates for some storage. I also added some little cubbyholes in the footboard.
I created the aged look by soaking the old pallet nails in vinegar until the water darkened, and applied it to the boards. Then I sanded with 220-grit sandpaper, added another layer of walnut stain followed by a light 220-grit sand. Finally, I sealed it with shellac. With the pallet bed made, we’re quite happy with the outcome of this project!
