Robust Side-storage Pallet Loveseat

I made this Side-Storage Pallet Loveseat with 3 pallets and 10 hours. This loveseat is very solid and sturdy, but with the angled back, it is quite comfortable, too! The lateral cavities can be used to store books or magazines.

My Side-Storage Pallet Loveseat:

To begin, I split one pallet just past the center stringers to create the seat. Then I trimmed and installed the remaining portion of the cut pallet. I cut it on an angle to make it much more comfortable than a straight-backed seat. Next, I anchored the sides to the back with wood screws.

Finally, I gave the whole piece a rough sanding to remove splinters, but left that signature texture. Now, do I paint it, stain it, or do something else? The possibilities… ;)
