I made this Recycled Pallet Wine Rack with a small pallet – this is like a half sized pallet. All I did was buy two chrome rails, a 2 x 2-inch strip of outdoor H1 pine and six 2″ screw hooks. This is my first pallet project, and I’m pretty excited to have accomplished this!
Here’s my Recycled Pallet Wine Rack:
First, I removed the rear deck boards and then cut the upper deck to the length I wanted. Next, I cut more deck boards to evenly fill in the gaps – cut to 110mm and attached them to the upper deck. Then, I attached the chrome towel racks in place to become the wine bottle guide rails. I screwed in the hooks to hold the wine glasses by their stems. Finally, I sanded down the piece and stained it all. Voila! This will hold up to six wine glasses and a total of nine wine bottles. Pretty good eh? So proud of me!!! :D
Editor’s note: Nice job for your first pallet project! We look forward to many more! – HS.
