I made my Pallet Wood USA Mainland Wall Art template from a child’s US Map floor puzzle. I copied the mainland US onto a piece of cardboard. I was lucky enough to find pallets already dismantled from a local pallet reseller. So, I selected the best looking pallets, laid them out and traced my US template.

Since the pallet pieces are still loose, I took the pallet pieces to the band saw to cut the border edges. Layed the pieces back down to fine tune the edge cuts to each other. Flip over the US and secure one or two pallet boards across the US to hold the pieces together. Attach a hanger to the back, and you are ready to hang. Of course, you can stain or paint the US, as you wish.
