My first pallet project is very manageable. I made a Pallet Wood Laundry Pedestal. This pedestal provides lots of storage for laundry supplies while raising the machines up to a comfortable height. The base is sturdy and broad for stability.
Don’t spend hundreds on store-bought pedestals. Make a Pallet Wood Laundry Pedestal instead!
I started the project with a base of 2″ x 10″ boards. Next, I screwed plastic bins to the bottom and used upcycled wood from a room divider shelf for the front. Then I glued pallet wood to the front after cutting & sanding it. I added handles that I had on hand to the front. The drawers are on 3-inch wheels to slide in & out with a minimum of effort. My idea works well and meets our needs.

LMAO, I have to stand on tippy toes already to get the load out of my machine…and it is on the floor!
I have a top loading machine (I had a front loader, I despised it!!) – I would have to have a step stool if I had one of these, even though I love the concept and am considering it anyway. At 5’10”, I’m not short, but I do believe this would be a struggle.
