I built this Pallet Motorcycle Garage/Tool Storage Shed out of a little more than 35 pallets and spent around 100 dollars for the extras I needed to finish the project. I used nuts, bolts, straight and angled metal brackets, plastic sheeting, Plexiglas, and some corrugated roofing material.
Build your own Pallet Motorcycle Garage/Tool Storage Shed:
First, clear an area and level it out. You may want to use bricks or cement pavers to create a level foundation and to isolate the wood from the wet ground. I used a mix of bricks and pavers I had left over from other projects. I arranged the pavers in groups and used thicker and stronger ones to support the cabinets and motorcycle. Then I made the lower half of the wall out of eight pallets.
For the upper half, I used complete upper decks for sections of the walls to allow for Plexiglas windows. I also used some T-posts to stabilize the lower half during the build. I screwed or bolted the pallets together as I needed to strengthen the walls. Next, I anchored some of the pallets together with either straight or angled metal brackets. Creativity was key to get the different sized pallets to stack up the way I wanted. Next, I added some spacers to one wall to create a slope for drainage and to level the walls due to different pallet sizes. Finally, I filled in the gaps in the pallet walls with loose deck boards as well as applied plastic sheeting to make it more weather resistant.

I improvised and made “windows” by using complete top decks only, and then securing the Plexiglas to them.

I used 2×4” lumber to span the width of the garage, securing the boards to the pallets. This stabilized the walls and created a base for the roofing to be applied to. Next, I used prefabricated corrugated roofing material to cover the garage and secured it with fasteners. And there you have it! I may add doors long-term, but I can also just use a large tarp to cover the front up in bad weather for now.
