Pallet Coffee & End Table Set

  • 2 pallets

  • medium

  • 4h

  • $30

We made this Pallet Coffee and End Table Set out of two pallets in just four hours. The project only cost a total of 30 dollars, too.

Here’s how we made this Pallet Coffee and End Table Set:

First, we cut one pallet lengthwise, just past the center support to create the coffee table. Next, we cut the second pallet crosswise, just after the center support to create the end table. We left the lead deck boards intact on both pallets, but removed the remaining and repositioned them so that there was only 1/4″ in between each. Each has six deck boards. We sanded both tables down using a belt sander for the majority of the surfaces and finished with a hand sander. Next, we stained all the surfaces of the tables and allowed them to dry. We re-sanded again with a fine grit paper to give the tables a slightly weathered feel.

I sealed all the surfaces with a polyurethane varnish in a satin finish. We purchased the legs and attachment brackets from Home Depot with a belt sanded and sanded some areas with a hand sander. We stained then attached everything. It was sanded again with a fine sander. The top and inside shelves were polyurethanes with a satin finish.

The legs and attachment brackets were purchased from Home Depot.
