I made this Military-Inspired Pallet Coffee Table the usual way I do, except I used a set of stencils for the decorative top. I used an airbrush to  add some creativity and personal style to a DIY coffee table. This was a relatively easy project, used only one pallet and took two hours to make.

Military-inspired Pallet Coffee Table – The beginning:

First, I cut four pallet stringer legs to length. Next, I used more stringers with the forklift arches for the short sides of the table frame. I cut more stringers to length for the long sides. Then, I mounted the frame together by mounting the pieces to the table legs.

Military-inspired Pallet Coffee Table – the end:

Now, time for the fun! I applied lettering stencils. I taped them together to simulate a military box that had been stamped. Then, I adhered them with tape and carefully used an airbrush to apply the black paint. Then I very gently sanded a bit to simulate some wear-and-tear. Finally, I sealed it all with some Varathane, sanding lightly between coats.
