I made this Florida Room Pallet Coffee Table With Matching End Tables without any plans. I designed most of the pieces on the fly. Additionally, I hand-picked all of the pieces I used. I purposely used pallet stringers with forklift rails, solid rails and deck boards. I cut the table top boards at an angle to jazz them up a bit. Then I strengthened the coffee table corners with Timber lock screws. The hardware adds a bit of an industrial look. Perfect for your sunroom, porch, living room, outdoor living, and patio areas!
First, I cut the stringer boards to length for the legs. Next, I cut the frame for the table and mounted them with simple butt joints, securing them to the table legs. I added supports underneath the table top for places to secure both down the center and along the edges. Then I used stringer boards with the forklift arches on the exterior of the legs and cut two more down to install on the insides to support the lower shelf. The top of the coffee table was cut on the diagonal, and the lower shelf was easier to do a simple straight shelving.
End tables can be handy in the bedroom, decks, front porch, and even as pretty plant stands for your yard or outdoor areas!
I cut the legs from pallet stringers with forklift arches and used stringer scraps to create the table top frame. Again, I used deck boards in a diagonal pattern but framed the table top with a raised lip and mitered corners. I added a lower shelf on these tables too for additional handy storage. I think these would be good in a living room or even as outdoor tables, too!
