Diy Video Tutorial: Industrial-style Coffee Table

We made this Industrial-Style Coffee Table for a customer following plans provided by an interior architect. The goal was to have a "raw" look,  but neat and clean appearance.

Hide the screws, fill in the gaps, and sand the Industrial-Style Coffee Table down. Then, all you need is a set of casters!

In this case no planing or gluing, and no glued laminate. We sawed, used screws, and sanded the piece. We built the table so that no screws would be visible.  This idea is a different project from my usual work and was surprisingly easy. I completed this project in about three hours and used three pallets. I have a DIY Video Tutorial that you can watch to make your Industrial-themed table.

Add casters and this Industrial-Style Coffee Table is mobile.
I assembled this table so that no screws showed, and by only sanding the wood, the natural, rugged beauty shines through.

Other than hiding the screws, this is a straightforward coffee table. Stack two Euro pallets on top of one another, use extra deck boards from a third pallet to fill in the gaps, and sand to your liking. Add casters, and you have an industrial table!

With only the nail holes remaining on the pallet wood, the raw beauty shows and makes this a functional and attractive surface.

By stacking two pallets on top of one another, you create a second shelf for storing magazines, remote controls, or whatever else you want to have handy.
