Carnival Themed Unique Pallet Clock

I decided to put a clock in my pallet man-cave, but also wanted something unique. I made this Carnival Themed Unique Pallet Clock from simple supplies for under 20 dollars!

First, I bought the giant-sized clock workings from Hobby Lobby. Next, I used a router to narrow out the back of one pallet so the clockworks would fit. I marked the center point on a pallet and drew a circle around it. Then I used some wooden numbers I had for some of the hour positions, and my girls colored them for me. My girls colored he 3 & 9 locations. Additionally, I used some old casino $1 slot coins for the 1 & 8, then cut a couple of casino poker chips to make the 11.  I made 2 & 4 using some old dice I had lying around. Next, I used a $5 over the chip for the 5, and the ten was done with a wooden number 1 and a lid off a some bottle from when I was a kid.  I saved all of these things because  I’m 4th generation carnival family. This was a very easy project, and you can take the idea and customize it to your liking.

Great idea – and opens up so many possibilities for customized clocks! Now you need an awesome Cooler Table for your Man Cave!
