One day, a neighbor made me the nice surprise to leave me this wooden box with a sliding door and 2 shelves. He often sees me painting in the common garage. It was like he would give me the mission to do something good out of it.
How I made this pallet bathroom cabinet:
I removed the door and sanded the sliding parts so that they slide well once painted. I painted it in a blue sky then I put touches of a pink patina and, drill the hole for the handle and varnished the cabinet.
Then, I painted the whole box in the same way and drilled the back to screw the wall clips. Then, I drilled the door and screw the porcelain handle on it.
I printed a bluebird and flower motif and painted a dessert lace, spread the blue birds with glue varnish, then the flowers and finally the dessert lace. I needed several layers of varnish to find the right balance.
The mirror was attached using wood glue and the resin flowers spread around. A ribbon of roses was fixed and varnished as a finishing touch.
Now, I only have to fill in my new bathroom cabinet my most useful products, and mow among the flowers.
