I made these Estonian Pallet Tables & Shelf by repurposing pallets – and all the projects were simple, as well as budget-friendly. You can upcycle an old table and harvest the table legs or you can purchase them.
Estonian Pallet Tables & Shelf – the shelf:
First, I cut the end off of a pallet, leaving the upper and lower deck boards in place. Cut the shelf to the height you wish, but I wanted a diminutive one for our home. Next, add one extra deck board to the end (now bottom) of the shelf so your things have a place to rest. Sand and finish the project any way you wish.
Estonian Pallet Tables:
The pallet tables are very easy. Either upcycle old table legs or purchase a set to your liking. Sand and finish your pallet to your liking and then install the table legs per the manufacturer’s directions. Cover with glass if you choose, or use acrylic, or just fill in the gaps with more pallet boards for a more rustic, homey feel.
