I made this Pallet Wood Backyard Bench using a cable spool and two pallets for the frame and seat. It didn’t cost a penny, either!
Pallet Wood Backyard Bench: Extra seating for romantic evenings in the garden, or great party decor too!
First, I broke down a cable spool and two pallets. Next, I cut a part of each cable spool end off to create flat spots. I used stringer boards to connect both sides of the bench seat, center support, and seatback supports. I cut deck boards to fill in the seat and secured with screws. Then, sand the boards and spool end until smooth for comfortable seating. Finally, paint, stain, or apply any treatment of your choice to decorate the bench for your home decor and have a seat! :)
