I used 100% recycled pallets to create this. I came up with the idea myself, and it was so simple. Other than sawing and nailing (with the occasional wrenching out of nails) the only additional work was a bit of sanding down of rough and sawed edges and washing away surface dirt. I am planning on staining the wood, but a watered down stain so that the knots and pallet stamps are all still visible. I didn’t want to take away from the fact it was created from pallets. Otherwise I could have just gone to my local home store and bought lengths of timber.
I am really happy with the outcome and looking to start another pallet project very soon.
