This TV stand was custom made by Hewel Mobilier following a customer request. The French company has first retrieved an old metal factory cloakroom. Once cut, three trays made from recycled brackets were welded around the preserved part of the locker room, and two feet made of metal irons gave the desired height. Hewel Mobilier then completely stripped the structure before applying the “gun barrel” finish on the outside and black inside. To form the plates, recycled pallet timber has been used. It was cut, planed and sanded before receiving a clear finish tint. This TV stand has an industrial style and is a perfect illustration of upcycling.
