This beautiful Winter Garden Made from Repurposed Pallets is made from the smaller, Euro pallets. The cool and frosty colors make you shiver, even in the sun!
Our Winter Garden Made from Repurposed Pallets- the sofas:
I made each of these little sofas out of four pallets each. First, we split four pallets in half lengthwise. Next, we stacked three on top of one another and secured in place. Another 1/2 pallet became the seat back and was held at a slight angle by using deck boards to secure it an angle.
Our Winter Garden Made from Repurposed Pallets- the table:
The table was simple: just stack two on top of one another and secure. I made a couple of small sliding drawers and painted one a different, contrasting color. Everything was painted either a lovely pale blue or a snow-white color in a gloss. The fun part came with applying the inspirational and life-affirming stickers. Wait until the paint is dry! Follow the directions if you’re using a rub-in sticker, or if it’s a more traditional adhesive-style type. Carefully rub all the bubbles out of the letters, working from the center out, or just go slow from one end to the other. Use a plastic burnishing tool to gently rub the sticker down firmly and evenly.
Our Winter Garden Made from Repurposed Pallets- finishing touches:
We decided that we wanted the table to be mobile, so that I could arrange this set in different ways, or move the table out of the way altogether if we needed extra floor space. We got a set of locking casters that have easy locking mechanisms. You can just step on one side and unlock it, and do the opposite to secure the table in place.
Beautiful creation made with small “EURO” Pallets. It’s a kind of my version of a winter garden. Furthermore, the colors choices are just perfect!
