Here’s an excellent way to get adorable home decor (or awesome hostess gifts) from those scrap pieces of pallet wood. Make a set of these cute Love Heart Pallet Candle Holders and be the hit of any party! Your project is even better if the pieces aren’t the same size or height.
Love Heart Pallet Candle Holders:
First, remove any nails, then sand down and plane two sides to fit fairly snugly together. Next, place the two pieces side-by-side and draw out your pattern. Then, cut our pattern out with a band saw or jigsaw and a long blade. Drill out a hole for tea lights into the top of each board. I used a 38-mm spade bit, then used a sanding drum for drills to make them a little larger. Finish sand and then decorate/seal to your personal preferences.
