This Mini Pallet Wheelbarrow Plant Stand was a fast and easy project. Build one to fit your living space, and you can finish it the way you choose!
How I built this Mini Pallet Wheelbarrow Plant Stand:
First, I cut two deck boards to form the horizontal supports of the wheelbarrow. I cut two more to the height I wanted for the rear legs of the frame. I glued several deck boards side-by-side and let them dry. I traced a circle out and cut out the circle shape. I repeated the process for the wheelbarrow top and shaped it the way I liked. You could add sides so that it looked like an actual wheelbarrow if you wanted, but I liked the stylized version. I drilled a hole and used a piece of leftover copper pipe as the axle of the wheel and used nails as “cotter keys”. I think the copper will get a lovely patina as it is exposed to the elements. I stained it all and then put a decorative basket and flowers on it. We think it’s very nice!
