We wanted a statement piece for our living area and wanted to make something that was custom-fit for the area. So, I decided to make this Dark Stained Pallet Coffee Table. I wanted it to have a sturdy, rustic feel, and pallets made that easy!
First, I broke the pallets up. I measured our area and couches and decided on size and height. Next, I built the frame from pallet wood and old timber I upcycled. Then, I cut and affixed the top. When it was all built, I sanded it and stained it. Finally, I finished it with a satin polyurethane to protect it. I built this in about five hours total.
This build is gorgeous! But if you want more inspiration, check out this Sturdy Table!
Looks great! What did you use for the legs?
Walnut
I love it… what color stained did you use.
Thank you David.
It’s not as big as it looks in the pic. Perspective etc.
I highly recommend everyone has a go at something as easy as this.
What have you got to lose?
Terrific advice! GO FOR IT! Happy Palleting! – HS
