Attractive Pallet Chevron Dining Table

My husband and I made this Pallet Chevron Dining Table, using pallet stringers with arches as a decorative feature. The project only cost around twenty dollars!

Have some fun and mix it up! Make a version of our Pallet Chevron Dining Table for indoor or outdoor use!

To begin, we used pallet stringers for the legs and the subframe. It was framed in a rectangle shape with an additional center support in the middle of the table, with two on either side of the central support to hold pieces for the top. Next, my husband started cutting pieces from one end, working from side to side, and then ending up in the middle with a triangle. From there he worked backward on the other end of the table using the exact measurements as he did for the first side. Our table isn't a standard size but fits our space. The table measures 50" wide x 36" deep and 30" tall. I used a stain and polyurethane combination product since it was easier only using one can instead of two cans. I applied three coats of paint/sealant to finish the project.

Use the pallet stringers with arches as a featured detail of your Pallet Chevron Dining Table.
The pallet stringers with arches make an attractive focal point on this robust and attractive table.
Pallet Chevron Dining Table features a modified chevron shape.
We had fun with a pattern instead of a linear top.
Pallet Chevron Dining Table has 3 coats of a combination stain and polyurethane.
Three coats of a combination stain and polyurethane left our project glossy and richly colored.
Make a Pallet Chevron Dining Table to fit your personal space instead of being stuck with standard sizes.
We built this table to fit the space we had, and pallets were a great medium to use!
